Though, most of the products didn't evoke any emotions and a lot of them seem to be useless, I was impressed by how unbelievably many people around the world put time and effort into bikes and related products.
Since I had to stay at the booth most of the time, I only wandered the show in search of some nice hand-built bikes (and forgot my camera that day to take pictures of them).
I got to talk to the guys from Rewel and IF concerning a 29er for my little self. I'm still not sure if it'd make sense to give the big wheels a try (Jon recommended not to and refused to build me one - I do trust him on that but would still like to get a chance to test one). Stand over heighth, toe overlap and an overall strange handling of the bike might be issues. But the frame-builders didn't consider it to be a mission impossible, recalling several small ladies on 29ers. IF recommended a rigid, non-suspension corrected frame in order to avoid some of the potential problems.
